Coogee locals live in the great outdoors. We play, gather and celebrate beneath blue skies, with salt in our hair and sand between our toes, following the beat of the tides. No wonder the heart of Coogee Bay Hotel is our big, happy garden by the sea. Filled with fresh air and sunlight, it’s an oasis for friends old and new.

Nothing beats your favourite cold tap beer beneath big skies – except maybe pairing it with a hearty pizza, juicy burger or ocean-fresh seafood platter. Salute the sun with a beach-inspired cocktail or follow our wine list on its journey through Australia and around the globe. Can’t commit to a single dish? Spread the love by sharing, because life’s too short and this menu’s too good for food FOMO

At Coogee Bay Hotel, music is in our DNA. When the weekend comes around, our Garden fills with the sounds of live acoustic folk, pop and soul, soloists, duos and trios playing covers and originals. DJs set the tempo for sunset parties and bands bring a festival vibe. Under the stars or with sunshine as spotlight, our beachside live music is the soundtrack of Coogee’s soul.

A backyard for locals and an oasis for visitors, our Garden has a sweet spot for everyone. Generous, sundrenched space for your squad to spread out and celebrate? Easy. Cosy nook for two with a sensational sunset view? Our pleasure. From a big table for family catch-ups to a shady spot for soaking up sea views over a cocktail, the Garden is all your happy places in one, with the perfect dish and drink for each.
