MEMBERS’ CLUB TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Introduction
The Coogee Bay Hotel Loyalty Program (“Loyalty Program”) operates strictly in accordance with the terms & conditions set out below. The Loyalty Program operates at the Coogee Bay Hotel (“the Venue”) and is operated by the Coogee Bay Hotel (“the Venue Operator”).
Members of the Loyalty Program will earn redeemable points – one point for each dollar of expenditure - at the following outlets within the Venue:
Marra Bar & Grill
The Garden
Sports Bar
Arden LoungeSelina’s
Coogee Bay Boutique Hotel
Members of the Loyalty Program will also earn redeemable points – one point for each five dollars of turnover on electronic gaming machines within the Venue.
The Loyalty Program excludes - and no points are earned for – events or package bookings or expenditure on Keno, TAV or bottle shop sales.
Loyalty Program points cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts or special offers across the Venue outlets, such as Sports Bar Happy Hour program.
Loyalty Program points are non-transferable between members of the Loyalty Program. Complimentary hotel accommodation rewards are for the sole and exclusive use of the member that has earned the reward, who must be a registered guest at the hotel.
The number of points earned by a member of the Loyalty Program using the member’s membership card at the Venue determines that member’s Status and membership tier. Different benefits attach to different membership tiers as explained in the Table below.
2. Membership
2.1 Membership in the Loyalty Program is free and is available to any Australian resident who is at least eighteen (18) years old and provides valid and accurate personal information when enrolling. Once enrolled into the Loyalty Program, you will enter at the bronze member status level and are entitled to the rewards and benefits of membership as set out herein or in promotional materials.
2.2 A person may apply to become a member by completing a Loyalty Program application form (either via the QR code available in membership form or a physical form). By signing or electronically submitting the Membership application form each Member acknowledges that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any changes or variations to those Terms and Conditions that may be made from time to time by the Venue Operator.
2.3 A person who has applied to become a member will not be entitled to be a member of the Loyalty Program and to receive membership card unless accepted to membership by the Venue Operator whose decision is final. No membership card will be issued unless and until that person presents an acceptable form of original identification to a member of staff at one of the outlets within the Venue.
2.4 Membership is free but is limited to one account per individual. No shared or joint accounts are permitted. The Venue Operator reserves the right to delete without notice any duplicate accounts that appear to be linked to the same individual.
3. Membership card
3.1 Any membership card issued to a member of the Loyalty Program may only be used by that member and no other person.
3.2 A member must not allow any other person to:
3.2.1. use their membership card for any reason including use of electronic gaming machines; or
3.2.2. engage in any activity on behalf of the member which necessitates the use of that member’s membership card. For example, a person (regardless of the person’s legal capacity) is not permitted to engage in any gaming or gaming related activities which will be attributed to another person’s membership card.
3.3 A membership card issued to a member may only be used by that member for the purposes of that person’s membership. The member must not give their membership card to another person or member for any purpose whatsoever. A Venue Operator Staff Member has the right to require a person to produce identification satisfactory to that Staff Member for the purposes of verifying that a membership card is being used by the relevant person to whom it was issued and such person must immediately comply with such request.
3.4. It is the sole responsibility of the member to protect their membership card and take precautions against loss or unauthorised use.
4. Membership card Tiers Points and Benefits
4.1 There are 4 membership tiers Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond. 800 points required to move from bronze to silver, 2,500 points from silver to gold, and 4,000 points from gold to diamond. You will earn different rewards as you progress through each tier, such as
4.2 The tier level of your membership is based on the points earned during the current or previous Membership Year whichever is the highest. If you are a new member, or do not have sufficient points to qualify you to the second membership tier level, your membership tier level will start at the first tier, Bronze.
4.3 Members must maintain an active Loyalty Program membership to earn and redeem points. You may opt out of the Loyalty Program at any time. If you opt out of the program, you will no longer earn points or be able to redeem points and you will forfeit your unused and unexpired points. Deletion of points is final and cannot be reversed.
4.4 Please note that points cannot be earned for any purchase made using a reward coupon, an account charge or purchase of a gift card.
4.5 In order to earn points, it is the member’s responsibility to ensure that the member’s membership card has been presented at the time of the transaction.
4.6 Points earned will be reversed if a transaction is cancelled or a refund given.
4.7 If you are registered and have sufficient points in your account, you may use your points in exchange for rewards.
4.8 Loyalty Program points have no cash or monetary value. You cannot transfer, sell, or give your points to any other person.
4.9 You can only use one voucher at any one time when making a purchase, and it cannot be combined with any other vouchers or discount codes or be applied to discounted items. The voucher will only apply to the product price and will not apply to any delivery costs unless specified.
5. General
5.1 Any tax, liability, or duty incurred by a member arising from a member's participation in the Loyalty Program is the responsibility of the member.
5.2 Any points credited in error will be deducted by the Venue Operator.
5.3 Any points accrued for any purchase or money spent that is then reimbursed or refunded will be deducted from the Member’s points balance.
5.4 The Venue Operator has the right to terminate or suspend the operation of the Loyalty Program (including in part) or to vary or supplement these terms and conditions (including the membership tiers and the structure for earning and redeeming points) for any reason without notice and without liability.
5.5 In addition to the right to terminate, suspend or vary, the Venue Operator may terminate your Loyalty Program membership immediately and without notice where (as determined by the Venue Operator in its sole discretion) you:
· fail to comply with the Terms and Conditions of the Loyalty Program;
· provide misleading information or make any misrepresentation to the Venue Operator or any of its staff members;
· are abusive or offensive to any of the staff members of the Venue Operator.
5.6 Where your Loyalty membership is terminated, you will cease to be entitled to earn and redeem points and your unredeemed points will be forfeited without any obligation or liability for the Venue Operator to compensate the member.
5.7 Members of the Loyalty Program are responsible for remaining knowledgeable about the Loyalty Program terms and conditions and any changes made after becoming a member. The member’s continued participation in the Loyalty Program will constitute the member’s acceptance of any such changes terms and conditions.
5.8 Members are responsible for reading the Venue Operator’s Privacy Statement in order to understand how the Venue Operator collects, uses and discloses a member’s data.
