ANZAC DAY IN COOGEE

ANZAC Day in Sydney is a time to come together, reflect, and remember those who served. Across the city, communities gather early to mark the day. At Coogee, the ANZAC Day Dawn Service begins at 5.30am on 25 April, bringing locals together in a quiet, moving moment of remembrance as the sun rises over the beach.

Following the Dawn Service, servicemen and women alongside the wider community are invited to continue the morning at Coogee Bay Hotel. Breakfast will be served from 7:30am in Beach Bar & Dining.

From midday, Two-Up returns to Selina’s. If you’re wondering where to play Two-Up in Sydney this ANZAC Day, this is where the tradition comes alive. It’s played just one day a year in NSW outside of casinos, and remains one of the most iconic ANZAC Day rituals - built on mateship, history, and a bit of chance as the coins fly.

For those who want to stay on, entertainment will carry through the afternoon and into the evening.

And for those travelling from out of the city, Coogee Bay Boutique Hotel offers 74 beautifully appointed rooms just steps away from the beach and the Dawn Service.
