Our end-of-year wrap up

As 2025 comes to a close, Coogee Bay Hotel is reflecting on another incredible year of community, celebration, and giving back. Since 1873, CBH has been a cornerstone of Coogee, offering a beachfront venue for festive gatherings, live music, and unforgettable memories. But our impact extends far beyond our doors.

This year, we were honoured to receive the Outstanding Community Service & Achievement Award at the 2025 AHA National Awards for Excellence, recognising our team’s ongoing dedication to the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF). Over 32 years, CBH has helped raise more than $4.85 million for SCHF, including a $1 million target over the next five years for the Base of Skull Service (BOSS) program, and donates 100 room nights per year for patients and families in need.

CBH’s community spirit also shone through local partnerships, including long-standing support for the Coogee Surf Life Saving Club and numerous local sporting clubs. In 2025, we hosted an exciting In-N-Out Burger pop-up and our second annual Ockerfest, alongside multiple sporting activations, community initiatives, and fundraising events, continuing our mission to support and celebrate the neighbourhood that surrounds us.

We also continued to champion Australian talent at Selina’s, hosting iconic live music and comedy acts, while providing a vibrant space for locals and visitors to connect, celebrate, and enjoy beachfront life.

As we look ahead to 2026, Coogee Bay Hotel remains local to the core, with a heart as big as the blue Coogee skies, bringing the community together for festive celebrations, cultural experiences, and meaningful support for those in need.
