TERMS & CONDITIONS (FOR WEBSITE)
1. PROMOTER
The promoter of this competition is C!NC [ABN 25 096 618 389] of 253 Coogee Bay Road, Coogee NSW 2034 ("Promoter", "we", "us" or "our").
2. COMPETITION
The Ockerfest 2026 - Ocker of the Weekend competition ("Competition") is a skill-based promotional competition conducted on Instagram in connection with Ockerfest 2026 at Coogee Bay Hotel.
The Competition consists of five separate weekend judging periods:
Weekend 1: 1–4 October 2026
Weekend 2: 8–11 October 2026
Weekend 3: 15–18 October 2026
Weekend 4: 22–25 October 2026
Weekend 5: 29 October–1 November 2026
Four winners will be selected for each Competition weekend.
An additional Ocker-Ween prize will be awarded on 31 October 2026.
3. ELIGIBILITY
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of the Promoter and its related companies, their immediate family members, and any person directly involved in the administration of the Competition.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant.
4. HOW TO ENTER
To enter, participants must:
Attend Ockerfest at Coogee Bay Hotel during one of the Competition periods;
Capture an original photograph or Reel of their Ockerfest experience;
Post the content to their Instagram account during the relevant Competition period;
Tag @coogeebayhotel in the post; and
Include #OckerfestCBH in the post.
Entry is free. No purchase or consumption of alcohol is required to enter.
The Instagram account used to enter must be public at the time of judging.
Participants may enter more than once during a Competition period; however, each entry must be substantially different and comply with these Terms and Conditions.
5. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Entries must:
Be original content created by the entrant;
Relate to the entrant's experience at Ockerfest;
Be posted during the relevant Competition period;
Comply with Instagram's terms of use and community guidelines;
Not contain material that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, offensive or otherwise inappropriate;
Not depict or encourage excessive or irresponsible consumption of alcohol;
Not suggest that alcohol consumption is required to participate in or win the Competition; and
Not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights of any third party.
Entrants are responsible for obtaining permission from any identifiable person appearing in their entry.
The Promoter may reject or remove any entry that it considers does not comply with these requirements.
6. JUDGING
Four winners will be selected for each Competition weekend.
Entries will be judged by the Coogee Bay Hotel Marketing team based on:
Creativity;
"Ocker" factor;
Entertainment value;
Originality; and
How well the entry captures the spirit of Ockerfest.
The Competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners.
Each winner will receive one prize pack as outlined in Section 7.
The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the judging or selection of winners.
7. WEEKLY PRIZES
Four prize packs will be awarded each Competition weekend.
Each weekly winner will receive:
1 x Bundy Budgy Smugglers; and
1 x Bundy T-shirt.
Prize sizing is subject to availability and while stocks last. We cannot guarantee a particular size.
The available Budgy Smuggler sizes are subject to remaining stock at the time of prize collection.
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value where reasonably necessary.
Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
8. PRIZE ALLOCATION
The weekly prizes will be awarded as follows:

On Saturday 31 October 2026, an additional Ocker-Ween prize will be awarded.
Entrants are encouraged to dress in their best spooky bogan / Ocker-Ween costume and submit their entry in accordance with the Competition mechanic.
The Ocker-Ween winner will be selected based on creativity, originality, Ocker factor and overall presentation.
The Ocker-Ween winner will receive:
1 x 15L VB Cooler;
$100 Coogee Bay Hotel voucher; and
Bundy merchandise
The Ocker-Ween prize is additional to the four weekly prizes awarded for Weekend 5.
10. WINNER NOTIFICATION
Weekly winners will be contacted via the Instagram account used to enter and may be announced on the Coogee Bay Hotel Instagram account.
The Ocker-Ween winner will also be contacted via the Instagram account used to enter and may be announced on the Coogee Bay Hotel Instagram account.
If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days of reasonable attempts by the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
The Promoter may require winners to provide reasonable evidence of their eligibility before a prize is provided.
All prizes must be collected from the Show Us Ya Tinnies Hut at Coogee Bay Hotel by 2 November 2026.
Prizes can be collected during operating hours, Thursday–Sunday, 12pm–8pm.
When collecting their prize, winners must show the Instagram Direct Message confirming that they have won. Staff will verify the winner against the official winner list and mark the prize as collected.
Any prize not collected by 2 November 2026 may be forfeited.
11. CONTENT AND SOCIAL MEDIA
By entering the Competition, entrants grant the Promoter permission to repost their submitted entry on Coogee Bay Hotel's owned social media channels and other marketing channels for promotional purposes, with appropriate credit to the entrant.
The Promoter will not materially alter an entrant's content without the entrant's permission, other than reasonable formatting or cropping for social media purposes.
Entrants retain ownership of their original content.
12. PRIVACY
Personal information collected in connection with the Competition will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy.
Personal information may be collected for the purpose of administering the Competition, contacting winners and providing prizes.
13. LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for:
Lost, late, incomplete, damaged or incorrectly submitted entries;
Technical failures, network failures or other issues affecting Instagram or internet access; or
Any loss or damage arising from participation in the Competition or acceptance or use of a prize, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
14. DISQUALIFICATION
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or entry where the Promoter reasonably believes that:
The entrant has breached these Terms and Conditions;
The entry is fraudulent or misleading;
The entry does not comply with the Competition requirements; or
The entrant has engaged in conduct that may damage the reputation of the Promoter or Competition.
15. INSTAGRAM
This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram.
By entering, participants release Instagram from any responsibility or liability arising from or relating to the Competition.
16. CHANGES TO THE COMPETITION
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend or withdraw the Competition where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, subject to applicable law.
Any material changes will be communicated through the Promoter's social media channels or other appropriate means.
17. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By participating in the Competition, entrants confirm that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
