26th Annual golf daY

This year marks our 30th year proudly supporting the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation. The Coogee Bay Hotel team, alongside 150 keen golfers and guests, gathered bright and early on Thursday, October 19 at Bonnie Doon Golf Club for a fun-filled day of golf and fundraising. While there was stiff competition on the day, the team from Lion came out on top and won our 2023 trophy - well done!

Throughout the day, guests took part in golfing, enjoyed a delicious lunch, and placed bids in our silent and live auctions. With the support of our incredible sponsors and the generosity of our guests, we raised an incredible $278,500! The funds raised have contributed to two short-stay surgical wards, clinical wings, theatres' research and fellowship programs. We have also committed to a five-year fundraising goal, where we will raise over $1M for the new parent and carers lounges in the emergency department. In addition to our financial commitment, we will continue to donate 100 room nights per year for patients and families who have no accommodation in Sydney.
