27th Annual golf daY

What a day to remember! 2024 marks an incredible 31 years of our proud partnership with the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation, and what better way to celebrate than with a fantastic day of golf, generosity, and good times!

On Thursday, October 17, the Coogee Bay Hotel team hit the greens at Bonnie Doon Golf Club alongside 150 enthusiastic golfers and guests, ready for a day of friendly competition and fundraising. The competition was fierce, but in the end, Command51 swung their way to victory, taking home our coveted 2024 trophy—congratulations! 🏆

But the real winners? The children and families who will benefit from the $325,000 raised on the day! Thanks to our incredible sponsors and the generosity of our guests, these funds are making a huge impact—supporting short-stay surgical wards, clinical wings, theatres, research, and fellowship programs.

Even better… we delivered our five-year fundraising goal of over $1M a year early! The funds we’ve collected went towards creating brand-new parent and carer lounges in the emergency department.

Beyond fundraising, we remain dedicated to donating 100 room nights per year to ensure patients and families from out of town have a place to stay in Sydney during treatment.
